How often does my car need a WOF in New Zealand?
Cars first registered on or after 1 January 2000 need a WoF every year. Older vehicles need one every six months. We will tell you your next due date when you come in.
What happens if my car fails the WOF?
A fail is not a fine. We show you what did not meet the standard, quote the repair before we start, and can usually fix it and re-check the same visit so you leave with a pass.
How long does a WOF take in Howick?
A WoF inspection itself usually takes around 30 to 45 minutes. If repairs are needed we will give you a clear timeframe before we begin.
